The new and improved Rascals brand is a shift from the norm for soccer here in West Michigan. This program is all about providing players with quality training, instruction and league play, regardless of skill or commitment level.
Rascals represents the mission of our Grassroots Initiative, which is to make the game of soccer more accessible to the youth of Grand Rapids. Rather than asking for a multi-season commitment, Rascals is broken up into five 6-week sessions to make it more accessible and affordable.
This community program is designed to utilize our incredible facilities to host training and game play opportunities for these players. Co-ed teams will be formed to compete in an in-house league, with varying divisions based on age/skill.
While this revamped Rascals program is brand new in West Michigan, it takes us back to our roots with our commitment to keeping the sport as fun as possible. Competition and capability development definitely do exist here, as they do with all of our programs, but this program is about a whole lot more than just that!
